Work History

Seif is a general and interventional cardiologist at the Cardiology Institute and the Lead Interventional Cardiologist at North Shore Hospital.

Starting in the UK, he finished his cardiology training at Greenlane and Auckland City Hospitals, where he also completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship between 2004-2005. He undertook a further interventional cardiovascular fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan, USA (2005-2006).

He has always maintained a keen interest in academic cardiology and interventional cardiology research and actively participates in local and international research programmes with several relevant publications in the field.


Areas of Interest

Seif has particular interest in ischaemic heart disease, coronary and non-coronary angioplasty and stenting and device-based interventional treatment for hypertension.
